The arrangement in one paragraph
Some links on SyncroWorks are paid links. When a reader follows one to Crossout and creates an account with the vendor, the vendor's advertising partner pays a commission to ENTIMARIN s.r.o., the company that publishes this site. The reader pays nothing extra and the vendor's own terms are unchanged. The commission is a fixed arrangement that does not vary with what is written here, and it does not decide the order of the glossary, the wording of any entry, or the cautions on any page.
Which links are paid
Every paid link on this site points to the same destination and is labelled where it appears. A line of ordinary body text sits directly beside each one, saying that it is a paid link and what following it means. Paid links currently appear in two places: once on the homepage, and once on titles covered.
Links to Australian government bodies — the ACCC, Scamwatch, the eSafety Commissioner, the OAIC, the Australian Cyber Security Centre and the Classification Board — are not paid, and neither is any other outbound link on this site. Nobody pays us to link to them; they are there because they are the primary sources for statements this site makes.
What triggers a payment
The advertising partner pays on a specific sequence: a reader follows the link, creates an account with the vendor, confirms the email address used to register, and signs in to the game. Payment follows from that sequence and from nothing else.
In particular, the publisher is not paid when a reader:
- reads any page on this site, however many times;
- follows a paid link and does not register;
- spends money inside the game, on any item, currency or pass;
- subscribes to anything, since there is nothing here to subscribe to.
Commissions are calculated by the advertising partner on its own terms, and are subject to its validation process. The publisher has no visibility of any individual reader in that process — no personal information reaches us through it, and this site collects none of its own, as the privacy policy sets out.

The first row is the important one, and it is why this page exists in this form. Pretending that a site funded by one advertising relationship chose its subject matter independently would be the dishonest part. Saying that the relationship decided the subject, and then holding everything downstream of it to the same standard as if it had not, is the arrangement we can actually defend.
What we are not
SyncroWorks is not a vendor, a reseller, a distributor, a partner or an authorised source for any product mentioned on it. Nothing here is an official site. No product is endorsed by us and we are endorsed by no product. We distribute no software and process no payments. Following a paid link takes you to the destination the advertising partner provides, where the vendor's own terms and conditions apply to everything that happens next.
Crossout and all other product names, logos and brands mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. SyncroWorks is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
The standard we hold this to
Under the Australian Consumer Law, misleading or deceptive conduct in trade is prohibited, and that obligation falls on the publisher of a site like this one as much as on an advertiser. The ACCC publishes guidance on advertising and selling, including disclosure of commercial relationships, at accc.gov.au.
In practice that means three commitments. Every paid link is disclosed at the point of the link, not only on this page. No claim about a product is made here that the vendor does not make about it itself. And no urgency, scarcity or pressure device is used anywhere on this site — no countdowns, no stock counters, no offers ending tonight, because none of that would be true.
If the arrangement changes
If the advertising relationship described here ends, the paid links are removed and this page is updated to say so. If another arrangement is added, it is described here and on titles covered before any link to it is published.
